Biography

Dax Finley is a Pennsylvania-based photographer and
graphic artist who specializes in bold, dramatic imagery.
His work has been featured prominently in both marketing
materials for and installations at The Pennsylvania State
University Libraries. His work has been published in various
publications, including interior photos for Watercharms:
Ocean-Reiki Meditations (Schiffer Publications, 2011) and as
cover art for Academic Apartheid: Waging the Adjunct War
(Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2011).

Interested in the potential behind light, texture, and shadow,
Dax entered the B.F.A. program in New Media at Penn State
University as a returning adult student with self-taught skills
in Adobe Photoshop. He subsequently earned a 4.0 in his major,
graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2010.

He currently lives in Ardmore, Pa with his partner and a
tribe of fat, hungry cats.
